I was wondering if there has been a show about initiated pagans versus non initiated pagans. I know there was a topic about elitist groups and the covens, but recently I saw a topic on a board about people who self dedicate and claim to be so and so pagan but aren’t officially initiated. There was talk about how its not fair for someone to claim a certain religion and not be initiated. This raised the question about how does a solitary practitioner who doesn’t have any access to covens or groves in their area get initiated legitimately and if it is necessary.
It became a sore topic for me because there seemed to be a lot of people that looked down on pagans that didn’t go through initiations. I know there are some groups that don’t require it, and there are those that request payment. I was wondering if that is even fair to request payment for initiation rituals.

Regarding Dragon’s Blood, this is what i found on a website:

- Don’t do it to be emo or to be different. It’s a shit ton of work.

Hey loved the episode! I’m getting my fiance into it. He’ll be one of the Catholic fans I guess.
Also, on the topic of ley lines, I heard a few years back about one state or city in the US. that has all the ley lines mapped out. They purposely build businesses on them so they can be more successful. I believe the same goes for the homes as well. I forget which place it is though.
The downloads don’t seem to be working right today, the direct download only gave me 11 seconds, and no sound on the streams.

The process of initiation is deeply personal, and you’ve either experienced an initiation or not.
The validity of an initiation stems from the person making the claim, their experience and character will bear it out, but it also comes from the credibility of the group or person performing the initiation where lineage is important.
Initiated lineages, of groups, of people, etc. don’t necessarily confer some “extra mystical” authority, but they do point to the history of the approach taught which is valuable in understanding a person’s experiential background.
