Magda Writes:

I was wondering if there has been a show about initiated pagans versus non initiated pagans. I know there was a topic about elitist groups and the covens, but recently I saw a topic on a board about people who self dedicate and claim to be so and so pagan but aren’t officially initiated. There was talk about how its not fair for someone to claim a certain religion and not be initiated. This raised the question about how does a solitary practitioner who doesn’t have any access to covens or groves in their area get initiated legitimately and if it is necessary.

It became a sore topic for me because there seemed to be a lot of people that looked down on pagans that didn’t go through initiations. I know there are some groups that don’t require it, and there are those that request payment. I was wondering if that is even fair to request payment for initiation rituals.

Magda Writes Regarding Episode 68

Regarding Dragon’s Blood, this is what I found on a website:

Traditionally burned for love, protection, exorcism, and sexual potency. The dried resin is believed to be a powerful protectant when carried, sprinkled around the house, or smoldered as incense and has been used to drive evil and negativity away when burned.

I also read that its supposed to quiet a noisy house and also cure impotency.

place basically saying the same thing and adding something else.

Dragon’s Blood is great for protection, to drive away evil and negativity. This blend is a very powerful uncrossing incense. Dragons Blood can be used anytime to clear negative vibrations while establishing positive ones. Dragon’s Blood Incense is also helpful for working to increase magickal power, and potency. It is a well known Love Incense. Legend has it, that it will help to attract an errant lover to return, as well.

Hey the author of Essential Asatru also wrote and co wrote some of the Avalon books. Ravens of Avalon, Priestess of Avalon, Ancestors of Avalon and so on. Quite interesting.
