With every day that passes and every book that is left unread, the sheep herd only continues to grow.
This new america is an enslaved america. We are boxed in and beaten into submission. We are flooded with brand names and slogans, and endless seas of useless crap. We are being brainwashed and it is obviously working.
Corporations, politicians, authority figures, they are all parasites that just wear a different mask. What will they do when their hosts finally die? What will be done when there is nothing left?
Ugh, I haven’t felt this hopeless since I finished reading 1984 x.x
Please dont feel all is hopeless. Please? Because there is much going on, that is unseen, to fix, not all but much of what is wrong. What is wrong is part of the cleansing.
You and your friends are very inspiring. You give hope to some of us who have been in hiding for TOO long. You MUST continue to push the limited minds into seeing new perspectives. It is so healthy.
I believe this world we are living in, is going to have a soul purge soon. there will be a new.
Now that I have exposed my *sounds like Jim Carey* “VELVETY INARDS”…………i feel NOOD!
I STILL WANNA HAVE ASHLEE’S BABIES!… I am ovulating . obviously..
I don’t think that we can completely blame all of this on the corporations, politicians, ect as much as they do have a large part to play in all of it.
The way the human animal is, we want to belong and be part of a pack, each of us playing the part we are dealt. You have a corporation that has it’s workers that bust their ass to do a job and you have the high paying managers that are trying to continually justify that by pushing paper they are playing their part. Deep down they know, and we know, that they’re just pushing paper. We want to BE those people that can get away with just pushing paper and at the same time hating them for doing it. We’re as much to blame as they are…it’s a thing of twisted balance right now.
But we do it in everyday life, not just in the workplace. We go to our priests, to our parents, to our teachers, and try to get answers to what we’re supposed to be doing because we can’t bare to learn on our own anymore. We think that society has no room for the mistakes that come with learning. The people on the bottom continue to feel hopeless and sit in their rot and the people on the top continue to lead because those on the bottom continue to come to them to answer their problems.
When it comes to literacy, how many families are having such a hard time with life that they can get more money on welfare than actually working? On welfare they can just get money…meanwhile getting a job…you have to pay for childcare, gas, insurance, car maintenance, appropriate clothing. As much as it’s not something that I approve of…it’s the way of thing. So it’s not surprising that the literacy rate is failing as the years go on.
But we’re slowly coming to a transition period, but it’s going to be slow. As much as the people in power want to stay there, the people at the bottom don’t want to take responsibility either. So we can whine and bitch as much as we like, but it works both ways…and GUTWRENCH is right…it takes people willing to speak up that will get people to think. Right now it’ll just take a lot of time. There’s a lot of damage over a lot of years to fix, it’s not going to heal in a year or two.
I think the “are you really you if you’re taking medication” goes back to the whole thing where drunkards will say “well I was drunk” as if it was some sort of excuse for their actions. All alcohol, as a drug, does is lessen your inhibitions, thus magnifying who you really are. It doesn’t change who you are, it just magnifies parts of who/what you are.
W00000, I feel like Superman!!! </oblig>
I really took that statement of “are you really you if you’re on drugs” to heart a few weeks back. Then I realized that on the influence of caffeine I was merely more awake and alert, not so much an alternate/parallel self at work in the morning. Then I realized how silly it all was.
